ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
An exhibition of a well-known St. Petersburg "furious" photographer. We tried to look at his work in the context of the time when the exhibition was on display.
"Now, in the spring of 2022, in a situation of ongoing catastrophe, all the visual experience of the past is not particularly important. Everything seen before is perceived in a new way. In this context, the photographs presented at the exhibition, in addition to vividly captured feelings, receive a tragic intonation from the outside. The fire that scorched the living breathes in them."
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dmitry Pryakhin was born in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Ship Power Engineering and Automation, as well as the Faculty of Journalism. He is an "unabashed" photographer, filmmaker, and director.
