ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sergey Rogozhkin was born in 1955.
In 1977, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Ural State Pedagogical Institute. From 1977 to 1979, he served in the Soviet Army. From 1990 till 1990 worked as a wedding photographer in Odessa. From 1990 to 2008 Sergey worked as a freelance photographer.
In 1992 and 1993 he made several creative trips across the United States.
Sergey Rogozhkin is one of the founders and teachers of the photo school "OK" (Ekaterinburg) since 2008. Since 2012 Sergey has been working as a skiing coach.
Sergey Rogozhkin has held solo exhibitions at the Museum of Western and Eastern Art (Odessa, 1987), the Boston Institute of Photography (USA, Illinois, 1992), the Metenkov House Museum of Photography (Ekaterinburg, 1999 and 2010), the Gallery of the Union of Photographers (Moscow, 2006), the Belinsky Library (Ekaterinburg, 2009), and the International Street Photography Festival "White Nights" (2012).
Sergey is a member of the Union of photographers of Russia.
